On March 9th, 2006, a new chapter in the West Sussex signage industry began as our doors were opened for the first time.

It has been an incredible journey from our humble beginnings to becoming the region’s premier "One-Stop Shop" for everything print and signage. Here’s a look at how we got here and why we’re more passionate than ever about making your brand stand out.

From XL Beginnings to Ginger Greatness

Our story started in 2006, when founding partners Les Hilton and Phil White combined their design and signage expertise to launch XL Graphics Ltd at Trident Business Park in Selsey.

As our reputation for quality grew, so did our need for space! In 2011, we made the move to our current home at Enborne Business Park in Sidlesham. This was a game-changer for us—giving us a dedicated showroom, professional office space, and, most importantly, the room to bring vehicles inside for precision sign-writing, rain or shine!

A Bold New Look

Evolution is part of business. In 2014, Phil moved on to a well-deserved retirement, leaving Les Hilton at the helm. With our 10th anniversary approaching in 2015, Les knew it was time for a fresh identity that matched our vibrant energy.

After a series of reviews, Ginger Signs & Graphics was born! People often ask, “Why Ginger?” Well, one look at our bright orange branding—and a quick glance at Les’s hair when he had some, and you’ll have your answer! The rebrand perfectly captured our personality: bold, memorable, and full of character.

Over the last 20 years, we’ve expanded far beyond "just signs." We’ve spent two decades honing our craft to ensure that whether you’re a local startup or an established fleet, we have the tools to help you grow.
